Tour de Forest – Bike Hire Agreement

This agreement is between Tour de Forest Ltd (“the Company”) and the undersigned customer (“the Hirer”). By signing below, the Hirer agrees to the following terms and conditions of bike hire.

1. Hire Period & Payment

Hire charges must be paid in full at the time of booking.

The hire period begins at the time stated on the hire form and ends when the equipment is returned and checked.

Late return may result in additional charges.

2. Deposits & Identification

A refundable damage deposit of £200 per e-bike is required, held on a valid debit/credit card.

A valid photo ID (passport, driving licence or national ID card) must be presented. The Company will take a copy for security purposes.

Deposits will be released once equipment is returned in satisfactory condition.

3. Responsibility for Equipment

The Hirer accepts full responsibility for all equipment hired, including loss, theft or damage (except fair wear and tear).

Bikes must be locked securely when unattended, using locks provided.

In case of loss or theft, the Hirer may be charged the replacement value of the bike and/or accessories.

4. Safety

Helmets are strongly recommended for all riders and are mandatory for under-18s.

Hirers must be competent to ride a bicycle and ensure bikes are used responsibly and in accordance with the Highway Code.

E-bikes may only be ridden by persons aged 14 years and over, as per UK law.

5. Liability

The Hirer accepts that cycling carries inherent risks.

The Company is not liable for injury, loss or damage caused to the Hirer, third parties, or property through use of the hired equipment.

The Hirer agrees to indemnify the Company against any claims arising from use of the bikes.

6. Returns

All bikes and equipment must be returned to the agreed location at the agreed time.

Bikes must be returned in clean and serviceable condition.

Cleaning or repair fees may apply if bikes are excessively dirty or damaged.

7. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the hire date will receive a full refund.

Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable.

8. Agreement

By signing below, the Hirer confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to the above terms.
