New Forest Cycle Guide

To ensure you have the best possible experience while protecting our unique National Park, we ask all Tour de Forest riders to strictly follow the official New Forest Cycle Guide and stick to the approved way-marked routes.

The Forest is home to delicate ecosystems, rare ground-nesting birds, and free-roaming livestock that can easily be disturbed by off-road cycling. By keeping your e-bike to the clearly marked, designated gravel tracks—easily identified by wooden cycle marker posts—you help prevent soil erosion and protect vulnerable habitats.

Not only is this a crucial part of the local cycling regulations, but these beautifully maintained trails also offer the safest, most scenic, and most enjoyable way to explore the Forest without getting lost or risking damage to the bikes.
